Just got a set of 245/40ZR18 Yoko Avs Es100. I'll be posting picks tomorrow. Anyone have these?

I had those ES100's on my last car, a VW Corrado and I thought they were a great tire for the price, especially considering they have near the best treadwear you can get for summer only rubber... You probably won't need more grip than they can give for road driving. I was able to go fast enough in a straight line and around highway ramps to justify a 5 year jail sentence.

just bought a set on my RX-8. LOVE THEM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! softer ride with less road noise and they grip better then a gorilla gripping its' banana.

I highly recommend these tires!

 

these are great tires for the dollar. Horrid in rain performance though.

 

I've had the es100s on my car, but no one seemed to care. Congrats on the purchase. I'm loving the tires. Over 10k on them and no signs of wear. I do lots of spirited driving, hard accelerations, and stops. So enjoy!
