NEW Shoes Installed!!! with sensors

I had this tire/wheel combo installed yesterday. Sensors installed no problem. Tires handle amazingly. Stock tires weigh 45lbs, this combo 55lbs.

TIRE= BF Goodrich G-force KDW-2, 245/30/20

Wheel= TSW Mondello,20x8.5 40mm offset.

Purchased all including install for 2400$ flat. Auto Effects in College Park Maryland. They are a dealer for TSW wheels in NoVa. They did not have the tires but ordered them for me.

It was good while it lasted! I thought i'd be the only Black8 with Mondello's for quite some time
Damn you have good taste in cars/rims.

I'd be anxious to know if you're going to lower yours? My car looks like your but lowered and no appearance package. Now that I have rims i'm rethinking the air dam and side flairs.

Congrats man! Looks awesome with the 20's

x-sin-x,

is your car lowered?? did you roll your fenders? reason i ask is i'm doing a 19x8.5 and 19x9.5 setup w/the tsw thruxtons.... i live in NOVA also, was Auto Effects the cheapest local tuner? did you look into having the tires/wheels shipped to your door??

thanks

The Mondello's are the Hyper Black. I would say they look gun metal. My car is lowered and has been since OCT 03. Espillar springs. I did not have to roll the fenders and have absolutely no rubbing. Auto Effects were the only local Dealer that was listed on TSW's site. The tires were listed on tirerack dot com as the highest rated high performance tire(summer) which was important to me. I plan to get the TEIN flex with electronic dampening. I could have obtained the tires and rims seperately delivered to my house and then taken them to get mounted but the savings(less than a 100$'s) was not worth it for me.
I just had delivered to my house today Vertex Lang full body kit. I will and will probably have it on my car in about 2 weeks. I picked up the kit from Speed Alliance for 2300$ Maybe a bit pricey but it was exactly what I wanted.

So x-sin-x, how is the ride on those wheels? I am looking to get some 20X8.5 Kaotik's with the same size tire. I will be using Tein-s to lower my car.

I have recieved numerous compliments by close freinds/ family and complete strangers. I have only had the rims out in the rain 3 times but when I did the tires handled great. I decided on 20" because it was recommeded that it is wise to only plus up by 2.

20" is the perfect size to make the 8 looking good

My 20's will be here this FRI. I still dont know what size tire to put on the car. Any suggestions?

1. 225-35-20 looks to narrow, but the price is right.
2. 235-35-20 Only found 1 tire in this size, tire looks to be a little too tall.
3. 245-35-20 plenty of choices, way too tall, 3% off on the spedo.
4. 245-30-20, the tire tire rack recomends but not many choices in this size, more expensive than all tire choices around it.
