Nice brake upgrade Swoope. I'm lovin' the Project Mu rotors. I want some ate fluid myself, but I dunno how long it would take to flush the DOT3 I have and put in 4.

you got that where?????? a link would be nice! so far i have about 500 miles on them.. nothing compared to the stock pads.. yes the wheels are still clean.. yep. the photos were shot with 500 miles of brakes on the car.
just waiting to bed them in...

DOT 3 and DOT 4 fluids are compatible, no need to flush the 3 before putting the DOT4 in. The only difference is higher wet/dry boiling points in DOT 4.
Nice set up swoope. Basically all the stopping power (if any of OEM) of a BBK at half the cost huh
sorry, no link. i used to run axxis pads and after i bed them in, they'd dust a lot. i mean, it was worth it for the stopping power and feel. i switched to hawk hps, for less dust but am thinking about going back to axxis because the hps feel so numb. btw, it must be really humid in your area. i can tell by your x-drilled rotors. it took me about 3 months to get them that color. did you get them from rx7 store?

can you find it on rx7 store?
vana, buy a vowel!!!!

Speedbleeders are your friend. Just changed to Racing Beat brake & clutch lines as well as Hawk HP+ and ATE Blue. Soooooo easy bleeding everything except that bitch-to-get-at of a clutch bleeder. The pads are amazing to say the least and we'll find out about fluid on Sun.

Ahhh very nice Swoope!
In the next couple of weeks I will be painting with G2 or similar epoxy caliper paint.
I have an extra set of stock rotors, will paint the hubs black and calipers are going to blue. (previously had done a high temp (temporary) black paint on the rear calipers). It looked decent but the paint didn't hold up well on the rotor hubs. Going to try another solution for that.
I helped ChrisRX8PR with his caliper painting a couple of weeks ago. He did Mazda on the front caliper and the Mazda symbol on the rear calipers, I didn't have my camera but will take pictures of mine after they are completed.
Speedbleeders make brake work so easy.
ATE Super Blue whoo hoo.
SS lines will be going on once a set falls in my lap.
Again nice job Swoope.

it looks like that's the natural color of the caliper tho- ie u didn't have to paint it, right?
