New rotors on new-ish pads?
Hey guys,
A few months ago I got new brake pads all around, and rotors machined all around as well. Unfortunately they were not really machined properly so now the rotors are all wavy and bumpy.
I want to get some new rotors, my question is...do I need to get new pads again as well?
I know that the pad surface wont be nice and flat due to the current rotors, but will they smooth out over time with new rotors, or will they ruin the new rotors?
Cheers, Daniel

It's not recommended to turn the rotors on our cars, they just get replaced. You can reuse the old pads. But unless they are expensive pads why bother, you can get a decent st of ceramics cheap.
