New Rims MB Motorsport VR5S
Pics are here
MB Motorsports VR5S in 18x8 45mm offset. Tires are Falken GR Beta FK-451 in 245/40/ZR18. Car is dropped an inch all around. Good look on the car. Noticing tramlining and a little bit of wishy washyness with steering. I think the next move is a set of Koni adjustable shocks all around.
These rim + tires combo weighed in at 49.5 lbs.

are the koni yellows for the 8 even out yet???
newayz about the rims... not my cup of coffee and theyre kinda thin? no? maybe should have gone wider if you were already investing this much money. wat advantage do your rims have besides a change of look over stock besides weight?

I wanted to stick with the stock wheel size as much as possible. I was also very worried about weight and price as I didn't have 1500 bucks to spend on rims. I was also worried about going up .5 inch on width along with going with a 45mm offset vs. 50mm. I didn't want the tire or wheel sticking out past the wheel well. I went wider on the rubber to get a cornering advantage.
These rims were $135 a piece at Discount Tire Direct.
