New Rims Just came in and then zaino'd

I currently am running on 18x8.5 +50 TE37s, but with the horsepower I am pushing, I need 9.5 in the rear to run bigger rubber. So I went ahead and got the exact same rim in 19x8.5+43 up front and 19x9.5+43 in the rear. My new rubber should be in tomorrow.

RE050A PP 245/35/19 up front and 275/30/19 in the rear.

Can't wait to get em mounted up and fitted. I don't think I will have any problems with this setup, as it is the exact same as Mantis was running.

Watch out for a F/S thread if anyone is looking for a good deal on TE37s with decent rubber.

The hotness! I can't wait to see them on. Weigh them before you mount tires, if you can.

Send me a PM when you're ready to sell. I may have a few parties interested.

I like my scrub radius as tight as can be, and I haven't found an issue with grip on the front end. Smaller on the front should keep the steering nice and crisp.

It's usually "beg" for forgiveness under those circumstances

Why are you using the RE050A Pole Positions if you're having grip issues? I would think that a switch to a grippier compound would yield better results.

The RE050As are pretty sticky. I could have went with RE-01Rs, but I would prefer to not have to change my tires every 6 months. I thought about PS2s but if I was to seriously consider those, I would have just got the RE-01Rs. Keep in mind this is a street car... that occasionally sees the track, but not with me volks. I prefer cheap old 17" FN01Rs for track use (my neighbor and I share a pair right now).

The rims by themselves (old ones) weight about 18lbs using my not super accurate scale. The new 19s are about 21.
