I have Yokohama's right now. If i'm getting a new one, it's still gonna be Yokohama's.

On your lists, i'll say BFG. I had use BFG a long time ago and they are definitely a good grip tires. Good luck whichever you choose.

I run Hankook Ventus V12 Evo's in 225/40r18's, and they are so phenominal I would never go to another tire unless something tests better head to head.

In low profile it's not rough or noisy, and it needs A LOT of psi to get the good traction wet or dry (minimum 40 psi front cold-38 rear cold) which I don't need to bleed for the trip home from the track.

The reviews on TIRE RACK are very confusing; I don't think people air them up enough to get that really good traction, and say their car is squirelly.

Definitely the Ventus V12 if you are to compare it against the KDW 2's. The V12's out perform them in every category. The only reason why anyone would go with KDW2's are because of how good the tread pattern looks. I have some experience with KDW2's and they are LOUD.

If you drive a TON, I can see expensive tires being a good reason to not get wider wheels (if that's what you want). $100-200 over the course of a year or more is totally worth it to look better imo.

+1 with J##### , you should drive on ur stockies or consider buying some stockies or stock size wheels for that purpose and get tires that have mileage warranty.

Yes, the story goes:

This was my old car that I sold 2 years ago. Stupid economy made me sell it. But since then Ive bounced back with a way better job that I had before the economy hit. So I called the owner of the 8 knowing he still had it and said I have cash in hand ill buy my old 8 back. After some months he finally said yes. When I got the car back it had new Nexen front tires. I couldnt find any Nexen 275/265 tires. But no worries next year ill get a nice set. And they will be 265 in the back lol

So I took the car to get the tires installed and wow they took 1 hour before getting the car off the parking lot. So I had wify pick me up since I had to get back home to work. Ill pick it up after i log off from work I guess. I got all wet outside putting air so I could take it to the shop. Air kit FTW!!

You realize that tire size is larger outer diameter than stock, right?
