On a more on-topic note, I switched my future track wheel from the RPF1 to this. I never really cared for the design of the RPF1, but light weight + low cost = awesome. This seems lighter weight and better design. Win-win

But J, rpf1 will be a timeless classic, for all the right reasons! Not so sure about these, though they do look good!

It will be a classic, but I'm all about progression. New stuff > old stuff

Good chops pdx, hopefully Enkei makes it in colors other than silver & black.

A lot of weird hate in this thread.

OK so i'm not gonna read through all this but we're waiting to have Enkei release all the fitments and weight.

From what I have been told it's around the same weight as the RPF1, might even be a tad heavier.

These are MAT Flow Formed Wheels, better in quality to Emotion CR KAI and Rotas casting technology. Emotion CR Kai are NOT MANUFACTURED IN JAPAN. ROTA made in phillipines.

Enkei PF01 Made in japan with much better technology.

i do know they will be producing some 18x10.5 +38 so that would be a NICE Aggressive stretch setup for the RX8.

In any case, I'll be posting up in our forum when the actual info is released.

Oh i'm sure we can get special colors but will require a Group Buy or a purchase of 40 or more pieces.

Thanks Rishie! That 10.5 +38 sizing would look very nice indeed

I'd be interested in pricing on 17x9" in whatever offset would fit comfortably in my wheel wells with no modification. Shipped to 98122 if Rishie is putting quotes together.

I'm running 255/40/17's. My main purpose is for autocross and track days so I'm looking for function over form.

I'm sure there will be something along the lines of 18x10.5 +12/15/18/22 to compete with that sector of the market. That's the one I'd like to see!

Want the bronze too, question is how much are these going to be. I would pay a little extra for these over the rota torques even if they look similar.
