these are my daily/track wheels. i got some different wheels i'm looking into...just give me some time

so the clear corner story. i swapped cars with a friend of mine cause he needed work on his M3. i get the car back in less than 24 hours and the car is making a terrible clunking noise. so i lift the car up and find the first brace right after the trans bent totally vertical. he apparently bottom out the car and literally ripped the brace off. then i notice my left clear corner bulb out. so i go to pull out the lens to check the bulb...the whole lens breaks in half. i have no idea how he did that. anyways, the orange lens isn't so bad, i kind of like it like that.

I'm not even lowered and have had my brace bent straight down once. I had to have the tear in the sheet metal refabricated and order a new brace. Then it happened to me again, but this time the brace mildly bent upwards and left the sheet metal intact. It's a horrible feeling when you bend that frame brace, makes it feel like your getting your teeth kicked into the curb.

Dan, how many nice sets of wheels do you have?! I'll be seeing you this weekend and I'm gonna find out where you live so I can come raid your stash of Japanese delights. I'm really curious to know what you'll replace the Challenges with.... is there anything greater?

BTW those works 19's?

well...the paint alone was like $70. to media blast all four wheels, 4 layers of primer, 4 layers of paint, and 4 layers of clear coat...it came out to almost $1000 total. plus, there was some light curb rash that had to be sanded down.
