My shocks are bleeding

Sooooo I'm thinking of replacing the shocks with the Koni Yellows, I have had my S techs on there a while too. Ideally i would like it a little lower but i have a lot of equipment in the back of my car most of the time. In an ideal world though i would ilke it to drop another 1/2 an inch all round though.

Do you think i should just get the Koni yellows or get some coil overs?

If you search first rather than start new threads you will find that it will be lower with the Koni shocks.

^^Indeed. If you have the money to spend on coil-overs, do what your heart desires. Otherwise, the Koni's are an excellent replacement for OEM shocks.

the Konis will drop a little lower with your stechs than stock shocks + stechs. Coilovers will ultimately be able to go lower

idk if you are doing shows and stuff coilovers might be worth it but unless you have the urge to spend 400-500 extra dollars or whatever it is just get the konis

coilovers in the price range that you are willing to pay are not in the same league as the Koni shocks performance wise

I just think he meant that if you are cross shopping Koni yellows and coilovers that you are shopping for cheap coilovers. Koni yellows are great BTW.

Honestly for that price range get STANCE. I've had koni, flex, stance gr, bc, and a couple other random **** on my cars. So far as far as street setup goes stance is the best. No matter how low you wish to go, it rode and felt great. For example the flex, at a certain ride height it felt like garbage, but after you went below that, it sucked *****, and that point wasn't even low enough.

Koni is a pain in the *** to install, and honestly its kinda pointless. If you want to lower/raise your car in the future, you'll have to start over again. Stance would def be better for performance as well. But that being said some coilovers like Megan's are crap, I know cause I have it, koni is probably a better setup, but unless your like Team, and need that 1/100th, I'd get Megans over that.

Tiltmode has a group buy going on right now on some powertrix coilovers for real cheap, from what I understand its just a rebadged stance/hsd. You could try those. Lots of good reviews on em.

V3s are amazing, and have a kickass warrenty, they are normally a lil over 2k. You can get AST shocks for a couple $$$ more.

But comparing a $1,1xx to a 2,xxx coilover isn't really fair.

That's lower than konis yellows and S techs will get you. I have personal experience with Stance and I would pass but that is just my personal opinion based on my on hands experience with them. If you just want to go low for the street in that price range, talk to tiltmode and get in on the powertrix group buy. The bilstein PSS9 coilovers should be the choice if you are willing to spend a little more.

I've heard the PSS9's are good for a daily driver and all but I've heard the KW V3's are better. Double adjustable and lifetime warranty. After winters over those are the first things Im gonna order. 2" drop nd 1.8" in the back i think.

KW's are nice as well. I assisted installing them once and the owner was very happy with them. Coilover reviews can be found all over this site and you know what they say about opinions
