Exclamation MS strut problem!!!

Ok, so I got everything ready so that I can install my MS springs/struts tomorrow. When I go to check my rear struts, I find that the mount where the spring rests on the strut is loose on one of them!! I can move the mount up and down the whole strut assembly. Something tells me that isnt right.......

Can anyone chime in here?

um....... let me clarify. The rear strut that I'm referring to is the brand new MS strut that has yet to be installed!

wow,
i have no idea where you are coming from on this...

but... the ms springs are shorter than the stock spring....

the mounts are solid.. you cannot chage that...

its suppose to be located at the very bottom of the strut, but as you can see it's free to travel where ever it pleases! what a spoiled strut!
