Momo V10 questions >.<
I know absolutely nothing about rims/tires and was wondering about these..
http://performance.yoparts.com/momo/.../i-164983.aspx
Currently I have stock 18 inch TPMS rims on my '06 AT and was wondering which version of these I need to buy exactly and I have 225/45ZR18 tires on currently.. so when I get the V10 I'll probably need new tires as well correct?
Basically I know nothing about tires/rims and I want to get Momo V10s.. what do I need to do lol xD?

eh.. Not sure if I want 19 inch rims >.<
I've always been prone to liking the 18s...
But of course I want to go with the easier route..
So which would be the best 18s with 7.5 or 19s with 8.0?

are their any downsides to going 18s 7.5?
and going with 19s 8.0 I will HAVE to buy new tires with the rims wont i? If so what would the tire size be for those so I can get a price estimate?

Those Momo V10's are da bomb, but they're heavy bishes. They are my altime favorite look, especially with black rim part, but they're definitely for looks not tracking, so just get the 18x7.5, and the stock 225/45r18 fits perfectly.
I've got Enkei's GF-1 (under 19#'s) that I track with 225/45r18 Kumho spt's and works great.
Some RX8 people have noticed that the 225/45r18 look short on the 18x8 stock wheels so they put 235/40r18 or 245/40r18 tires for upgrade which even fit better.
i also noticed that the center momo cap costs a very reasonable $9 each and looks like aluminum. The Enkeis are a bish to find, are plastic, and cost around $30.
You're on the right track; those wheels are cool!

Alright thanks guys I appreciate the help ^_^ I love how these look on 8s i've seen two or three here on the forums with them and just love them.
Definitely going to go with the 18s 7.5

I'd HIGHLY consider the 19s if you're really set on these. 18x7.5 +45 just doesn't sound too appealing.
Tires are a wear-item. Shouldn't be a decision maker in something a little more permanent like wheels imo.

yeah but renisisjim and I both live in Oklahoma and he is right it is pothole nightmare out here.. and he probably has it much better than me cause I live in a small town where the roads get a slight fix every two years (if were lucky lol)
What would look wrong with the 18 7.5 setup though? I mean.. its only a half inch difference from stock correct? would that even been terribly noticeable?

But a 7.5 +45 will actually push the wheels +1 mm IN... as compared to 8 +38, pushing the wheels +12 mm OUT, which will be a little more "flush" with the fenders.
the 19s will visually be a little more flush, the 18s will fit almost identically to stock.
Both are very safe fitments... I'd just get the 19s and be careful with the potholes. I drive through downtown Los Angeles... no fun, but it's doable.

Just curious.. and kinda a stupid question.. but the link I provided is $225.00 per rim correct xD?
I can't find anywhere that it says specifically that it is per rim.

back on topic, i think if only looks matter 19x8 would be the better choice, as 18x7.5 and 19x8 are both downgrades performance wise, but at least 19x8 would look better
