MB Wheels?

I've been thinking about possibly buying a set of 18" wheels to replace my OEM's. I got the car used last February and the wheels are pretty nasty from a bad case of curb rash from the previous owner. Anyways, I've looked long and hard at the tire rack (since they gaurantee OEM TPMS fitmet) Kazera's or maybe even the Sport Editions since they are about the only one's I will be able to afford going into a full time grad school program and not being able to work very often.
However, I came across the Discount Tire Direct site, which also guarantees TPMS fitmet and offers an intall kit, and saw an absurdly cheap brand of tires apparently exlusive to this vendor called MB tires. They have wheels for sale, shipped, for almost $400. Of course they provide literature saying that this brand is of superior quality, but I cannot really find any other sources verying this claim. There also seems to be nothing about the weight of the wheel; I would prefer to stay within a pound of the stock wheel weight. Has anyone dared to try these wheels?

P.S. I came up with nada on a search, so feel free to point me in the proper direction if you are more enlightened, and then proceed to ridicule me mercilessly.

P.P.S. I found the wheel's weight I think in the database sticky, so scratch that point, still looking for feedback though...

One more thing. I know the stock tire doesn't fit the stock rim perfectly. It is too wide for the stock 18's right? So, it would not be a good idea to drop to a 18x7.5, but rather go up to a 18x8.5?

if you're going to simply replace the stock rim and run a 225/45 tire combo then you could go either way. 18x7.5 would work just fine but 18x8.5 might make the tire look a bit stretched. If you want to, run an 18x8.5 all around with a 245/40 tire and that would work great
