Which ones...

In Japan they used from Protenza RE01 to Yokohama Advan Neova AE07. I doubt you can get it in US or here in Australia. Go for Protenza S-03 which is closer to RE01 or Pirelli P0 or Michellin Pilot Sport

MazdaSpeed wheels are 18x8

As I said in the other thread. It is hard to go over 245 on a 8" but I will check for you.

For Japan mod companys:

235/40-18, 245/40-18, 255/35-18 have been tried.

Even 235/40-18 front and 265/35-18 rear.

But Fujita racing said 255/35-18 is the best.

I will go for 245 on standard and 255 on other wheels. All is come down to tire choices and price - which I don't know at present.

RM... I am pretty sure MazdaSpeed have 4 tyres of the same size. Let me check tonight and I will get back to you.

245 on stock wheel is pretty much the limit for a 8" wide rim.

thanks taka. well, i was asking, cause i want to put on the stock rims the goodyears eagles f1 in a few months time. I have to choose between 225/40 or 245/40. the second one comes closer to stock wheels (staggered setup is also an option, but i'm no expert, so i don't wanna mess it up) i just wonder if the 245 is too much for the front tires...
