Match to Shinka Wheel Color?

I am the owner of an 05 Shinka and due to the previous owner curbing all of the wheels I attempted to get them repaired. The man that did my wheels completely missed the color but I may have the solution my fellow Shinka owners. The new Camaro SS's have a very similar color and their is a paint code for them. Let me know if you all think this is a good match. I do not want to pay the $2500 Mazda quoted me for new Shinka wheels.

Usually, gunmetal works on any color car. What color car do you have anyway?

I have the Black Cherry and the Shinka has special colored wheels that Mazda does not seem to have a paint code for. I want the wheels to look original because the color is amazing.

Who did your wheel repair, if you don't mind my asking? I was going to go to Wheels America in Sharon Hill for coating but I've been seeing poor reviews for them.

Im in Colorado man, it was a local guy but for those of you in Colorado reading this, specifically the Colorado Springs area, it is bumper-and-wheels. This guy is terrible I will be putting him in the good guy/bad guy thread. Also he does a lot of work for Bumper Doc. I would not recommend either.
Senobeth, from what I have researched, if you go to a professional shop they should be able to match the color, if they are good. I would do that and let them take care of it. Bigger shops will also guarantee their work as well. Hope this helps

Yeah, that's a good tip, thanks.

Hey, my daughter and her boyfriend are going to be visiting CO Springs in about two weeks -- any good breweries you can suggest?

I had same issue when I wanted my '05 Black Cherry Mica wheels repainted. If I'm not mistaken, Mazda has the wheel color keyed to the VIN. I think any good wheel repair place can get the correct wheel color using that.
