lug nuts

This is going to be a bit of an odd thread, but what types of lug nuts are you guys using on your aftermarket rims. I just realized that the stock silver lugs arent going to work for me once i get the rpf1s powdercoated black.

McGard two piece spline drive also.

They don't mar up the rims because they don't spin against the rim.

McGard spline drive lug nuts are a no-compromise design to fit small diameter recesses in new tuner wheels.

Closed end design. No rust will weep out and stain your wheels
Maximum gripper power
More stud engagement and a a greater seating surface than socket style lug nuts
Upto 30% lighter in weight
Offered in chrome and the finish will not chip, peel or flake off like painted sockets style lug nuts. SplineDrive lug nuts take safety, dependability and good looks to the next level.

Alum Lugs will cause micro fractures that you can't see..............

Then boom one day the wheel or the lug nuts fall off.

The McGard lugs are lighter than the stock lugs but I would bet that the Rays are lighter than them.

I have a set of custom aluminum lugs that weigh next to nothing. Almost have to look at your hand to see if one is in it... and then don't believe it if there is.
