Lug Nut Wheel Locks

What good are these things? I've seen rims get ripped off with McGard locks.. Arent McGard what comes stock on the RX-8??

Anyone know anything about Gorillas? I'm thinking of trying the system set and replacing all my dang lug nuts on my FD!

Everyone keeps recommending Gorilla but I have no idea why. I've heard thieves go right through those McGard locks that are on the 8. Maybe they have the key, I dunno...

I too am curious what are good wheel locks or if they're worth getting...
