Loose rear
I need some suggestions on what direction to point the dealership in please. I wrecked my 8 back in August. (See this link for pics.... https://www.rx8club.com/gulf-rx-8-forum-32/well-add-me-list-69367/ ) The damage was in the front end and has since been repaired - all has been done by the dealership. I've had my car back in the shop on 4 different occasions since I originally picked it up from being repaired. I've noticed that the back end gets loose on rough roads or bumps and the steering wheel pulls hard to the right for a second or two when this happens. I feel like there may be something wrong with the rear suspension, but I don't know what it could be. I've asked the dealership to check the sway bars to make sure they aren't bent or damaged and they say those are fine. I've also been told there shouldn't be any damage to anything in the rear since the wreck was in the front and that there was no damage to the front suspension. The car has been in the alignment shop twice - once before the dealership found the broken motor mounts and once after they were replaced.
Any help or suggestions would be appreciated. I know it's the service departments job to know about our cars, but these guys just really don't seem concerned or willing to look for what the problem may be without me making suggestions as to what may be causing this.
TIA.
Shari

And check your tire pressures, Shari. Dancing on rough roads sounds like the pressure may be a bit high. The steering pulling to the right could be the DSC reacting to the rear wheels acting out of sync with the rest of the car, or the electric steering assist may not be centered exactly. Did they do a 4-wheel thrust alignment, or just the front? And did they hold the same alignment spec on both sides of the car, or just get into factory range?
