Post Looking for 18x8 45-50mm 5-114.3 < 20lbs Rim

Has anyone come across a rim with these specs? I've been scouring the net to find something and all I've come up with is a special order enkei wheel. All suggestions welcome.

However people have weigh it anywhere from 18 - 23 lbs.

yah, but the stockers cost a fortune to buy. I called MNAO today and they spec the stock 18s at 20lbs. I'm looking for something with similiar specs for not 400 a rim.

Check out 5zigen FN01R-C (http://www.5zigenusa.com/)and ADR Cypher (http://www.adrwheels.com/). They may have some right size for you.

Well, checked on 5zigen and they have rims with correct offset and weight, but the rim widths are only 7.5 and 8.5. ADR had some nice wheels but the offsets are way off from stock.

Thanks Fanman for the suggestion. I believe the MS rims come in at around 500 a rim, ouchie.

You should scour the forum sponsor, Tire Rack! A quick browse found several 18x8 wheels under 20 lbs, including the SSR Comp at 16.3 lbs and ET+48 (but I would avoid SSR now, since they've gone out of business last month); the BBS RG-R is expensive, but available in 7.5 or 8.5 widths and 18 lbs; and the OZ Superleggera 18x8 is under 19 lbs.

Regards,
Gordon

Correct me if I'm wrong but I think that he is looking for a rim that matches those specs and is also relatively affordable.

RPIRX-8, how much are you willing to spend per wheel?

What Speed Racer said. I'd like to keep a rim and tire package south of 1400 bucks. Those BBS rims are like 600-700 a PIECE. The SSRs are also very expensive. There is an Enkei wheel that might fit the bill, but it's special order only and i'm waiting to hear back about it.

I've been looking at Axis wheels. Supermesh 18X8 +45 offset. Found them for $244 each. The only problem is no weight is listed.
5Zigen does have a wheel that fits your specs. The 5ZR Copse is 18X8 +46 offset. Price/weight unknown.
