Koni Suspension

Has anybody tried the Koni suspension!?

I've read the thread from one of the vendors about it vs. tokico Dspec.

I was just wondering what you guys think and which springs
to match the koni with..

thanks!

Well, if you've read that thread then you have a pretty good idea of how the Konis perform, as it's a very thorough thread.

There are threads on the forum also that list all or most of the springs available for the RX-8 and their stiffness and how much they lower the car front and rear. Since the Konis are adjustable they should work well with just about any spring. The question is how low and stiff do you want to go?

wish I could take that 100 bucks from you!

Anyway, Thanx AIPEX8. Appreciate the advice.
I was thinking of going with the Mazdaspeed springs coz they
don't lower the car that much. It believe they only lower the
car by 0.75", front and back. I was thinking of Eibach but they lower
the front too much.. like 1.2".

I used the MS springs with the Konis and I'm happy. Minimal lowering but still a more aggressive stance, spring rates are ok for daily driving but pretty stiff and I set my konis at a turn and a half from full soft. Kind of wish I only went 1 turn but we'll see how it performs this sunday at the first autocross.
