UK Just Won Some Rota Boost 17x8 Alloys

I've just won the below White Rota Boost alloy wheels 17x8 114.3 on Ebay for a bargain £226! when here in England the average price new for them is close on £600!

I won them to refurb and sell on but as they are 114.3 in stud diameter i thought about saving them for when i get a VR 8 in around 2 weeks! and fitting some tyres lets say 17/225/50 or something similar (in england we spell tires tyres lol) so first what size tyres would you get?

Second what colour shall i refurb them i'm thinking either gun metal, anthracite, something along them lines....

Last i have a bad feeling they may look too small on an 8, has anyone by any chance got any pics of rota boost on an rx8 in 17" or a side pic of one with 17" alloys so i can photoshop them to the right size to see how they will look, i've tried searching but with no luck

Im in England right now .... as for tyre size I would say you can go wider than 225, maybe say 235 0r 245/50... whats the offset of the wheels?

they do 2 different offsets one is 35 the other is 48 and on the picture of the label on the inside of the wheel it has:

Rota Wheels
BOOST
17 x 8.0
5H x 114.3
HB 73.1 e35 PCWH

I have no idea what the last bit means lol could the e35 be the offset of 35 even though its usually et35

and i thought about GM but i'm leaning towards steel grey its similar to GM but a bit lighter in colour and i think will look beaut on VR http://www.potn.co.uk/rota-boost_c1_32451_32452.htm heres the GM and Steel grey for you to compare

looks like a 35 offset to me. I would say go with a wider tire like I said before. 245/50 would look impressive.

The proper tire diameter for this 17" setup would be a 245/45/17. I believe this would be a great setup for the 8. I wouldn't bother refinishing them unless they are that bad. Just put them on the car as is and refurbish them after you've thrown them around a bit.

245/50 is too tall imho unless they are cheaper or you have really poor road conditions over there.

Ye i've been searching the bay of e for some because i think an aspect ratio of 50 looks to fat around the rim and too late to leave the alloys be lol because i've flatted them all down and primered 3 of them below is my little workstation lol (one is in the garage that i did yesterday)
