installing springs

i searched and couldnt find much on actually installing the springs themselves, i am going to be ordering the eibachs any day now, and i have installed springs on a few different cars in the past, is there anything i should watch out for, be aware of etc etc....

They are pretty easy to get in and the RX-8 is a dream to take apart - everything comes out real easy.
For the front end you need to remove the upper control arms to get the spring assemblies out, but don't bother to separate the upper ball joint as indicated - it isn;t necessary.
You will need a spring compressor, too.
However, it is easier with the shop manual because the springs and shocks need to be assembled in a particular order and orientation. You should be able to get it if you are attentive and lable everything like the orientation of the rebound bumper and the spring perches.
Don't forget to reinstall the upper-mount insulator (a thin, clear plastic sheet). They aren't mentioned in the manual.
