How is he gonna lower the car and tighten them bolts down? Im assuming if wheels are on of course. I did have to jack up one side for one of the endlinks to match up right. But im also lowered so i had a higher stance already.

Yea but I dont even know if thats the right way to build the end links cuz I got one page of directions and it shows oem parts

No big deal. I'm going to my friends shop this week to get me parts insatlled.
Let me tell you, guys I drove the car around the block to see if it just needed to settle (guess not) and installed wrong that f**ker is stiff! cant wait to geter done the right way

I'll let you guys know how they feel after I get them installed the right way this coming week.

I'd like to give props to my 80 year old Dad that was out there with me every step of the way, installed wrong or not. Thanks pops!

I had no problem tightening and aligning the end-links with car lowered to the ground.....but then again I am riding stock suspension so if you were lowered it might be more difficult.

And all this time we thought the issue would be with the front. Go figure.

The issue is not with the bar. The issuse is with the end links.

If someone can show me what there AP end links look like or how they are assembled on there car or how to put them together, then I can use that as a reference and I can install my rear sway bar.

The back end links are not just take them out of the bag and install like the front end links.

So untill someone can do this I am just going to wait and call AP on Monday. Maybe they can fax me something or email me something or tell me over the phone how to put them together.

Regards,
-Gilbert

Anyway, I can't help as I have the RB endlinks. I search around as see what i can find. I do seem to remember a thread about them.

SUV RX-8 well a lot of people brake bolts when removing parts off this car. Its like they weld on or something.

Any way the car has been up on jacks now for a good 45 min. I'm just waiting for the exhaust to cool then its show time!
My friend is going to stop by to check it out.

Lets see how round two goes!

Have fun with that, I would come over and help but I am worn out from my mid pipe change and my shoulders are burnt from me getting mad and braking bolts. I answered you question about the tranny and diff fluids, check it out...Gils Question of the Day

lol thanks bro but I know how you feel right now. After doing it all wrong last night, my body was killing me (must be getting old).
We got the bar installed in a heart beat. Car feels like a go cart. No more body rool and this is just the back sway with end links WOW!
Cant wait to do the front on Thursday.
I'll post more pix tomorrow.

Looking to finally have the time sunday to install my AP front and rear endlinks. I was looking for assembled pictures and found the ones just above.

Those look wrong. Shouldn't the allen screws and bolts be reversed? I think the links are in the right spot but instead the assembly would be:

allen screw->link->bushing->swaybar<-hex bolt<-torque

Take care.
