Exactly, and anyone who thinks different is just flat out wrong. You can't deny physics, and that is exactly what this is.

But usually if someone says they're heavier rims are just like stock, they didn't take into account that they probably have wider and better tires on them.

All things equal, same driver and you had a stock 8 with stock tires/wheels and an 8 that has heavy 18*8 wheels with stock tires, the one with heavy wheels is going to be slower.

Its SCIENCE!!

So, I searched. I only like the Tenzo DC-6's and the Sportmax 006's. The only shiny one I found that I liked is the 20RL2 High Polished :

i couldnt find how much they weigh though. the tenzos and teh sportmax ones are both between 21 and 22 pounds and relatively cheap. the tenzo's are about 250 and the sportmax ones are about 170.

I have track vid's from rotorfest running stock rx8's, local rx8 pulls to prove it. maybe I am special or dont waist time on wheel weight and look to other places instead
anyway good luck
A reduction in the weight of the rim/tire assembly of 5lbs x 4 (all around the car) is equivalent to a 200lb weight reduction in vehicle weight (thats worth 0.200 in the 1/4 mile)

i have a dilema. (idk how to spell that) idk if tax returns should go towards rx8 or tattoos. I mean i want the 8 more than the tattoos, but its not like im gonna be gettin it any time soon. with my job, maybe in 30 years. ok its not that bad. but still. and i really dont wanna take a loan. cuz i'll be working just to pay the loan and teh gas. so yea. anyways, if i get an 8, it will be my first car, and im 19, so insurance is gonan charge me up the butt arent they? WHY DOES EVERYHTIGN HAVE TO BE SO DAMN COMPLICATED?!?!!?
