I want my Volk TE37 wheel set-up like these!

I want to have my future wheels(VOLK TE37) to run and look like this RX8 has! At the sight of the picture it seems to be like 9.5width all-around, but I dont know what the offset is. What do you guys think F: 22+ R: 34+?

Clearance and drivability is my outmost function outlook; then grip, handling, and traction to follow through with the look it will give my RX8.

Please help me on this because this is my only plan for the car this year and a bodykit will follow thereafter. This is pretty much more elaboration on earlier thread I started: https://www.rx8club.com/series-i-wheels-tires-brakes-suspension-55/volk-te37-purchase-90135/.

I highly doubt hes running +22 in the front OR +35 in the rear with 9.5 all around.

Im running 9 and 10, and the offset is +45 on both...and both are in line with the wheel well

Probability with running +45 all around with the VOLK TE37 19x9.5 is a good clearance (turning wise). I have a Tein S-tech springs on my car right now. Do I also have to roll the fender?

9.5 FRONT + 22... i may be wrong but i think that would stick out like 3/4" from the front fenders.

if you want that look on volk te37 you need to get:

front: 19x8.5 +22
rear: 19x9.5 +34

I was probably "guessing" on the offset part because of how it looks. But I definitely want the same look that of the car above but with the VOLKS TE37. I know 19x9.5 can be done but I dont know what offset will work for the front and back. No one here has provided me a hard fact about the offset that will work nor any car shop online that I have inquired with. I know 19x8.5f and 19x9.5r will work but I want it all-around with 19x9.5. I was hoping someone here has a definite answer about my question nontheless experts of the cars' set-up! I want to know about 19x9.5 of which "offset" to make the car drivable (with full turn) and function much better with such set-up.

you're not going to get that look with 9.5 up front. the offset will be higher causing the face of the wheel to be more flush with the outer lip. if you want the deep dish look you will have to sacrifice 9.5 all the way around and go with a staggered setup. OR go with a thinner width (like 8.5 or 8) with a low 30 or high 20 offset all the way around.

you could probably go 19x9.5 +36 all around but you be safer off with a +43

also, if you want functionality/drivability, you would much rather want 18x9.5 +40

I see what you mean! But what if the offset was +36 or +43 or from this list (dropdown) of offset on the following site: http://www.speedaction.net/vo-te32.html. Will any of this set of offset fit the front with clearance and turning capability. Keep in mind am sticking with 19's.

From the picture above posted, what you guys think the kind of offset is that RX8 running with?

^^i added some to my previous post. +36 should work, tein s-tech springs won't lower it enough to cause fender rubbing. but i would still go with a slightly conservative setting and go with a 19x9.5 +43 offset.

with a lip that big on the pictures above, i can almost guarantee he is running an 8.5 or 8 width rim. with a thinner width rim you can get a lower offset giving you a bigger lip. i'd say those wheels are probably 19x8.5 +25

Now this is more like it! Do you anyone who has ever run this kind of set-up? You must know something I dont know! Please explain about functionality and drivability(turning front wheel all-around) with this kind of offset so am sure where I'm going with this for my car.

You will be the very first person I would thank so much for actually putting time on, working with me on this topic. I just want to make sure I know where I am going with this in reagards to purchasing my VOLKS. Money and precise information is my best investment here in the forum. I know this is the best place to gather much needed information for my RX8.

the only person i know of on this forum who does not have a staggered setup, running on volk te37 is WHITEHOT. PM him for more info. 19" wheels will decrease performance. especially since you would have to run on low profile tires. 19" tires also cost a lot more than 18".

I was lowered 2" with JIC's and have 18x9 F and 18x10 rear, no rubbing, no fender rolling.

OK I'll review on all the info you have given me and give it a lot of thought as of I will run with either 18's or 19's.

What are your offset?

What offset would you "actually" recommend if it came down to Volks 19.x9.5 all around F & B?

Tires to flush with the fenders. Probably 245/35/19 all-around.

Now you know two people not running a staggered setup on TE37s. I personally like the neutral slight oversteer of the car, and staggered setups loose that real quick in the 8. By the way, when you push the rim out like that, you really increase your scrub radius, and the car will start to turn more like a school bus than an 8.

TE37 18 x 8.5 +50 offset (I should have probably gone +47 or 45, but this works fine for me.)
245/40/18 all the way around.

people always say the the staggered setup will give you more understeer. i don't notice any with the way mine drives. actually, i really don't notice a huge difference from stock.

with my current setup i have more oversteer, thats only because i havent gotten an alignment, have slight camber, and the fronts have toe out. But I didn't feel any more understeer with my setup.
