In regards to the black color.....

HP makes 2 versions of the same wheel Lightning and Lightning SS. Only the Lightning SS comes in black. I think the difference between the 2 is that Lightning SS has a polished stainless lip and the Lightning has a chrome lip. That is just my guess though, but you can see all the wheels on their website http://www.hpdesignwheels.com/

Prettty simple fix now that I know how to do it! Remember I only had an issue on 1 out of 4.....but..........I swear one of these days I'm gonna use the two gasket technique on the others, just to be sure. You have any issues when ya get back, just PM me and I'll even send ya a few grommets. That way when you have them put on by someone you can already have them and use them.

They are heavy, but I like them. Anyway, not sure exactly which you are talking about, but I have 18x9.5 in the rear.....HP EVO Lightning darks, and I believe they run right around 25lbs each. I'll check that and let you know as I have a spare in my back room.............now I just gotta find the damn scale!

I really appreciate it Maz. I can get the parts and everything, but I'm really really really new to learning about cars, and everything I've learned I've learned from my Rex. So I just don't want to screw it up. But I do want my TPMS, so yeah, expect a PM in about a month when I'm trying to figure it all out.

I am thinking about getting these as well. Can you run them without the TPMS? or do you need to add them in there for the 8?

You can run any wheels without the TPMS's in there. You will have the light on your dash however.
BTW.........if it's the HP you're talking about, they come with valve stems that match the wheels, just as most wheels would.
