245/35/18's on a stock suspension?

that's an overall 4cm diameter cut compared to the stock wheels.

so now i'm lowered, on baby tires, with 2 more cm of wheel well gap, which already has plenty to spare with the stock suspension.

i need new tires for my current halfassed racing slicks, suggestions?

edit: will be on black 5 spoke oem rims soon.

wheel gap = the enemy. if there was even a chance that that 2cm would make the wheel gap more notciable i wouldnt do it if it were my car.

+1^ All personal opinion, and I totally don't have anything against small wheels, (I came from a Miata and favored the 14" beauties!) but I think with the stock suspension, it will give it a pretty goofy look. Just take your time bro, you will find something good.

I am running 235/35/19. I used to have run tanabe springs, but I moved to a house with a slope drive way so I had to swap it back to stock.
It's not that bad..

I serisously don't recommend it. Also your ride will be a bit harsher.

so we have a bunch of no's, i don't mind a harsh ride. i'm going lowest profile for that small performance edge. well, what size do you guys suggest then?

keep in mind i don't want to use the baby 225.

i think of 245 or 265 when it comes to performance, anything more is a bit unnecessary for our cars, staying in b stock

If you want to do this, I reckon you should probably lower the car.

i can't lower the car anytime soon. koni's and new rims are the last thing i'm gonna get for the car. rest of my spare money goes to oil, premix, hpde/track days, tires, gas, k&n drop in, and a bit more and i will save a bit for cosmetics (wax, tints, etc...)

i want to know how my car handles, before making major upgrades too.
