how to get rid of the TPMS light w/ aftermarket rims?

Hey,
to those that got aftermarket rims that are NOT tpms compatible -- how do you guys deal w/ or get rid of the TPMS warning light?

i ordered a set of VOLKS, and b/c they ahve a special valve stem, they are NOT tpms compatible -- but i dont' want to drive around w/ that annoying light on.

I'm a type of person that stops at the nearest gas station and fills up the engine oil when the light comes one (i carry a liter of 5w-20 synthetic) and fill it whenever the light comes on...

How do i get rid of the TPMS light since my new volks will not have the TPMS on them?

Please help!

You really should check your oil more often. Waiting for "the oil light to come on" is not good. Rotarys use more oil than other engines.

Sorry I don't know the answer to getting rid of the tpms light on the dash.

have to agree with the above post. and after you think about that do a search, you might want to start in the do it yourself forums.

I just put a small square piece of electrical black tape over it. Hardly ever even notice it's there. Little Ghetto, but it works really well.
