This will be my first time using multiple pads throughout the year and I am wondering how to store them. I have OEMs on now, but will be changing to HP+s so the muscle memory in regards to the bite for heel toeing and the like will be closer to the full on track pads I will be using for track days, at least that is my thinking. This year will be my first time on race pads.

When I take off my daily driver pads, do I store them in their own seperate bag labeled front left outside, front left inside? etc. etc.

Does it matter which position they were in, and should that remain constant throughout the life of the pad?

Any container suggestions would be helpful as well

Make sure no moisture is apparent prior to storage. Put them in a sealed container. Keep out of humidity and impact, which is obvious due to ceramics and alloys.

put them in a humidor then inside a wine fridge, in 10 years they will be vintage.

are they stored in a particular way before you get them? no. put them on the shelf, they're brake pads..

Do you know of a daily pad that has about the same bite , and if possible doesn't dust?

You would be better off with the ceramics really.....there isn't really anything with the exact same "bite" or feel as track pads on the street,,,,but it doesn't translate to on track braking "feel" anyway in my experience.....it isn't often you are hauling the car from 140-70mph on the street

I just keep the original boxes around.

Brake pads aren't affected by humidity too much. The first few corners will cook off any moisture.
