Some springs are setup to have the driver side higher, that way when the driver is in the car it's evened out. Not sure if yours is supposed to be that way though.

Our cars are normally lower on the driver's side then the Passengers side.

I've noticed it on mine as well as many others. It could be a number of reasons like.

Check this link to someone else who brought this up ...
https://www.rx8club.com/showthread.p...threadid=19124

My 330i & 330Ci both were lower on the right side then the left because the battery was stored onthe right rear side of the car in the trunk.

My 2nd Gen Eclipse Conv had a lean to it, if I remember right it was on the left and that was because the engine was mounted slight to the left from the center of the car

I haven't checked out the RX8 throughly enough to know why it leans but no doubt it's normal.

Might want to check that the springs are seated corectly and that the front was preloaded before tightening the the shock unit.

There is definitely a noticeable difference in the rear. I would say almost an inch visually.

FWIW, my car in the pictures has hardly anything in it and about 1/4 tank of gas. Oh, and I have never been in an accident or hopped a curb etc.

I would like a solution to this problem.

Ps. EDIT: Just measured and the driver's side is 1/2 inch lower than the passenger at the rear of the vehicle.
