Help with offset

does anyone know what the deepest offset you can get in a particular wheel is on the front and back... i want to have the largest lip on both possible...these are the wheels i am thinking about getting...not sure if i am going to get the gold wheel/crome lip or the charcoal wheel/crome lip....wheels will be a 19 x 8.5 front, and 19 x 9.5 rear....please help me with what offset i should purchase to get the biggest lip...

also any feedback on this front bumper ....i notice that very few people have it which is why i like it so much....my rx-8 is white...

thanks

Those wheels look really hot.

I like the bumper too. Where did you find it? How much is it?

i have those same sizes and am running a +40 offset all the way around. If i went any lower the wheel would be popping out the side of the car.

no, it is a acosta motorsports bumper that they have made....but yes it is very similar to the mazdaspeed front bumper....except for the carbon fiber lip and the cold air intake opening...

thanks

As I have clearly stated i will do nothing of the such, but since i can see you actually do need some important info... check your PM box. (please do not post them on the board, thanks).

BTW, very good choice on the front bumper. Just make sure to put some sort of screen behind that hole. You wouldnt want to suck anything directly into your motor (especially water).

well momo..

are you willing to roll the fender lips??

19x9.5
if you are you can easily fit a 20 offset with correct tire size in the back or maybe evena 15 or 10 offset is possible with modification... i am sitting on 30 offset with 245/35 in the back with a 5mm roll on the lip. this sits perfectly flush. LIKE prefect inline with the fender if looked from above...i do have camber so the wheels do slope downwards..

19x8.5

you can easilt fit a 22-25 offset with no fender rolling in the front with correct tire size...

there are quite a few options depending on how much you are willing to modify...

if you want to be conservative no modifications then go with a 35 offset in the back and 35-40 in the front.

and no water does not get sucked into the intake unless you drive in bumper high waters

i have had a focus with the intake down in the fog light area and i drove in puddles and everything no problems.. my cousin has a 240SX with a custom intake that is left unguarded no problems..
