Help with new wheels

Hi All,
Just a quick question regarding wheels and tires,
I just bought an RX8 and am loving every minute im in or around it,
I have been given the chance to get some new wheels as part of a promotion at my local performance shop,
They have offered to give me some Advanti Alpha wheels and tyres for free if I allow them to use it as their show car.
They have recommended using a staggered fit of 9.5s on the back and 8.5s on the front,
What tires would fit without any rub or steering lock issues?
Im looking at 245/30/20 on the back and 225/35/20 on the front?
Thanks in advance.

Is there anyway you can get 18s or 19s? 20s don't look good on the 8 imo. You could easily do 9.5 all around. You could run a 245 on a 9.5 rim, but the offset of the wheel will play a big factor in if you rub or not. You will get a better answer if you post in the will it fit thread.

Your shop is going to have one ugly "show car" when it's done. If that is the final results...

Those tires will have a a bit of stretch to them. If you don't want the stretch you can do 245/30-20 and 285/25-20. Already tried it myself. Like these guys said though 20's is pushing it I ran 20's just to try it out and yea it's really pushing it out there.

Not to burst your bubble but those wheels are not 3k wheels more like 1k wheels. Unless your ordering some Trafficstar or Racing Hart wheels from Adavnti.

I am in NZ, they are 3k wheels,
I realise that most people dont like 20s.
I like the look, not do disrespect your opinions,
even if they are rubbish they are still free, if i dont like them, no harm done
