help: new tires/brakes/alignment - car floating

I got the components put in on friday and since then my car feels like a boat. Its floating slightly over the road.

Sitting on 100km/h and i move the steering wheel left to right about 1-2 degrees the car feels like its slightly drifting. I not sure how else to explain this.

I can only put it down to the tyres so far. Toyo's. A comfort sports tyre that i suspect is very soft? Or the little **** kid that was working the alignment area hasnt tightened something up. I'm not all that technical minded so please ask if you need me to explain more.

I am not sure exactly what you are trying to explain but when I had the new Toyo's put on for the first 1000k"s or so if I was driving straight and then did a slalom style left right, left right movement the steering/movement on change of direction felt very spongy or floaty as you are explaining I think. After a 1000k's it started to disapear and now at 2500k's is gone altogether. I was told by Toyo that the T1-R really does need some time to bed/run itself in and will feel very soft until this is done. Now that it is run in I love the tyre. But for the first few hundred k's I was worried!

From what Toyo explained to me was this drifting feeling was actually flex in the tyre - in the tread and in the tyre wall. As it beds in all this flex/softness disapears!
