Help installing Koni Sports
I'm planning on buying a full set of Koni sport shocks. I've been searching the threads for anyone who's done there own Koni installation. It sounds doable. But is it doable with floor jacks? And how many hours would a mechanic with a lift take?
So far, all I've gleaned is: One person was missing some hardware for the rears: "Make sure you have (2) 10x1.0 nuts with flats. The fronts came with all the required hardware."
Is this the case for all rear kits for the RX-8? Or was that a fluke?
Also, sounds like I'll need to drill the front bump stop plate out from 10MM to 12MM?
And they were kind enough to post this pic of the inside of the trunkshowing why the rears have to be removed to be adjusted: https://www.rx8club.com/attachment.p...chmentid=50855
Are there instructions posted on the web anywhere? One message stated the Koni instructions weren't too good.
Although rumor on another thread was someone modified there installation to allow rear adjustability without removal. Did they just drill a hole in the structure?

uhmm spring installations would be the same as shock installations sooo look up spring DIY cuz i know it's here somewhere...
for me, to install my rb springs it took me about 4 or so hours with a lift... for my konis i took it to a professional and he was done in about hour and a half to two hours while working on other cars too
