Help! Anyone have JIC FLT-A2 with 10kg/7kg springs installed?

I tried putting them on my car this weekend but found the OEM rear spring is 4.5" in diameter while the JIC spring is 5.5". It does not fit in the OEM hat correctly. I talked with Ben at JIC USA about this and he's going to follow up with JIC Japan.

Has anyone installed these springs on their car? If so did you notice this problem?

As you can see from this photo, the 7kg spring (bottom) appears larger than the 5kg spring (top).

I had no problems installing mine - followed Syntrix's instructions for the most part. Actually I had a guy who ownes a speed shop install them -- I just watched -- but he didn't have any issues with incorrectly sized parts.

Yeah, I believe the 5kg rear springs are sized correctly. It's the 7kg rear springs that I believe are wider at the top.

Update: Ben confirmed the 7kg springs are wider. The next step is notifying the US boss who will in turn contact JIC Japan. Assuming this is a "simple" ship error it could take 6-8 weeks to get the correct part from japan. The saga continues...

Last update? Ben just called to say the correct springs will be shipped tonight. He thinks the ones I got were intended for a G35. So on the bright side I won't need to wait two months. Looks like the rear shocks, sway bar, and exhaust all go on this saturday.
