anyone have experience with the H&R sport springs? i tried to search 'H&R' but i never get anything. anyways, i've got a set sitting in my garage and i want to install them but i also want to get a set of shocks to go along with them. anyone have any suggestions? i was thinking the tokico dspecs or koni yellows. leaning towards the dspecs though for the easy adjustment. any input would be nice.

I have the H&R springs & Tokico Dspec shocks. The ride is very firm. This could be mostly to the settings on the shocks. One of the rear adjusters is broken (the cable got kinked during the install) and they are near the hardest setting. The springs will lower the car substantially and I scrub the bottom on several speed bumps. An alignment will be required after installing the springs. The rear camber will be setting from -5 to -10 degrees out after the install.
This past winter, I made a 1000 mile trip from Chicago to Daytona non-stop (except for gas) and back. The ride couldn't have been too bad.

 

I have always wanted those springs. They are the only aftermarket spring I know of that drop the car the same amount front to rear. It is a 1" drop in the front and the rear. For example the Tein S techs drop 1.4" in the front and 0.7" in the rear.

 

i wasn't planning on getting a camber kit because H&R claims that they only drop 1" all the way around. does that mean that they drop significantly lower than that? i'm also on stock wheels. if i'm going to need camber, even with wider wheels, i think i might sell them hahah. they're brand new in the box still too.

 

The drop is more than 1" and I'm on stock wheels. Sorry, I don't have any good pictures of the car with the drop.
A camber kit is not necessary with this car. It has unequal length control arms. The alignment is fully adjustable. Camber kits are only needed for McPherson strut suspensions.

 

i think i'm going to sell them than haa. anyone know of a decent drop that's somewhere around the same as the tein htechs?
