GT vs Sport

Thinking of purchasing a RX-8 but wanted to know if there is a big difference between the GT and the Sport. I know the GT has Traction Control & Stability Control but the sport does not. Will the sport be as good as the GT in the snow? I like to get the Sport but I live in Phila and we do get some snow. So Sport or GT?

why is this in the wheel/tire forum?
It should handle well in the snow, providing you have proper tires.

You should double check the model features. I have a Sport model with Traction and Stability Control (and HID headlights). In the early model years, there was a "base" model that did not have Traction and Stability Control. The Sport does fine in the snow if you have real snow tires (not all seasons). The Sport weighs a little less than the GT and has more headroom. But if you like the GT's features, then go for the GT. I favor the Sport since I didn't want the extra stuff that comes on the GT.
