What type of information do you need? I have these installed on my RX-8 and the install is pretty flawless.

I have them installed already but i don't think correctly. I'm getting a rattle from one of the rear shocks, which i think could be blown cause of not setting up properly and the shock has bottomed out a bit. I also need to replace some parts on it that have been damaged by this problem.

There are 3 locking collars on each shock body. 2 for the spring (pre-load), and one for the shock length (ride height). If any of these weren't tightened properly, it could explain your rattle.

As to the blown shock. They take quite a bit of abuse and I track these shocks often. Are you sure the care isn't just set too low and your not bottoming out the wheel itself?

It would take a VERY hard hit to completely bottom out the shock and even then I don't know if it would blow it out that quickly. Does your car bounce a lot over smaller bumps?

I wouldn't fear the worst yet. If a shop installed them for you and you're having that many problems I would take it back to them and ask that they look at it. If your wheels are open enough, you could try to reach in and grab the collars to see if you can move them at all. Good luck!
