First off................sorry to hear about your engine.

2nd..............follow this link http://www.racingbrake.com/Twopiece_Rotors_s/519.htm and it will show you what a two piece rotor is. This is the exact style I have on my car. Jedi54 has the drilled, but I just have the slotted. Advantages? Thinnk that link will tell you alot of info.
As I may have said before, I used duplicolor, but it really doesn't matter all that much. Yes, G2 might be a higher temp, but duplicolor will do just fine. The pics I attached pretty much suck, but here is mine in duplicolor blue. If you look real hard, you will see that I painted the dust shields black, and you might catch a glimpse of the rotors. Also...........the calipers aren't really as bumpy as the pictures would lead you to believe, but you can sand them down first.
You'll have to click on the pics to get a larger version........I don't have any space left on my server.

You can look at my pics above, I painted the calipers blue and then just put the Polak stencil that I liked on top.....after they dried of course. I didn't clear over them or anything and so far so good. It's been at least two years and no issues.........but I'm pretty **** about my car, so I don't let a bunch of crap build up on there anyway.

So far...so good, but mine aren't the big RX8 ones, so you might want to hit with a little clear.....hard to tell?????

same thing here.. they have been fine. i would not hit them with a pressure washer. and i am careful when i wash them.

but i think i am at the two year point also.. i think clearcoat would be the way to go, but lazy party of one your table is ready here.

beers

Thanks.........no major changes since those shots, but they are a little old and I have done a few things that might not show and some that would. I need to get some new pics and pay more attention to lighting, focus, angles, etc.
Still trying to figure out which wing/spoiler I really want. almost bought the Mazdaspeed on now about 4 times in the last month.
