the original pictures are down. do these have the OEM style upper attachment points on the rear top hats?

They do not. They attach to the lower mount points only.

i can't think of why they went with a design that didn't incorporate the upper attachment like OEM. That's my biggest hesitation for this coilovers since i'll be doing HPDE and time attack.


EDIT: Although it looks like the aluminum top hats on the OEM NC Miata do not bolt in at the top, either. Strange why mazda didn't do that with the NC but did it with the RX-8...

Same question with the full-race ohlins. I had to buy a set of NC hats which don't have the side braces. Good-Win-Racing says it doesn't matter. Nor does the gap created by 2" shorter hats (helper springs on-order). Presumably they know more than I do so it must be OK.
