well yeah i sugguested a high quality brand of japanese racing wheel(work, advan, volk, etc) as it matches the car better than foose, an old hot rod and muscle car company, but the wheel doesn't look too bad though.

 

they actually have a line where the center parts are powder coated black, those would look awesome. I'm still waiting to see an 8 with wheels from this company: www.ccwheel.com
a lot of spec 7 guys run these and the fit and finish is beyond incredible

I'm actually a Volk, 5zigen guy myself, but if I were to ever put a set of Bling'Blingin rims on my car...these would be it..

 

volk and 5zigen make plenty of racing wheels that are verybling bling, you should see the 800 dollar 5zigen wheel set im getting(super metallic black/black chrome finish)

 

what style? the 5Zigen Hypers are SEXY!!!! but again they look like they may be heavy...and I really like the Volk SF-Challenge, and the Volk Progressive spoke..those are nice too!!

 

indeed its the 2 piece black chrome Hyper 5zr(not the 5zr copse which are a 200 dollar wheel) i was considering the 3 piece but they only come in 20 and are really for VIP style tuning(celsiors, chasers, soarers, etc) and they cost over a grand a piece street price

im still not too sure on offset, im doing a staggered fitment 19" with 8.5 front 9.5 rear. im thinking 40 offset front and 35 or 33 rear because i want a bit of a dish look.

 

OMG!!! 5Zigen hyper 5zr's were my first choice!! you HAVE to put up some pics!!!! is your 8 black?? because thats gonna be the sexiest car EVAR!! and just curious whats the weight on those?? and how much?? i was quoted 3500ish for a similar setup, and that wasn't the black ones...the hyper silver finish..

 

well, the wheels can be had for around 750 to 850 for the 2 piece hyper 5zr's and generally there is a 80 dollar premium if you want SMB(super metallic black aka black chrome) and you can pay between 3500 and a little over 4000 dependant on tires.

i think the hyper 5zr is the best choice because if you look its basically a style simular to the stock except waaaay better, and the stock rims look great!

its actually a silver car thats going to have lots of JDM body kit pieces so it will be the most unique RX8 in the US for sure. theres a cf hood trunklid and wing and dark tinted windows to match the rims along with lots of other stuff i dont want to list.

it would look excellent, white cars black cars and silver cars are the best cars to do a carbon fiber exterior theme to.

my second choice to silver was white but im into the mazdaspeed rx8 type s look(which is silver) so i got silver
