Finally on //Stance
Finally took everyone's advice and just bought Stance GR+ coilovers. I love them. I'm glad I got those megan racing upper control arms... really needs the camber at the height the rear is at now. My lip is maybe 2" off the ground, front tires are tucked, and I got to keep my corner lights! yay.

Welcome to the club sir, been running mine for a year and have had nothing but fantastic experiences from the c/o's and the service team as well.
btw did you make sure you got the 200mm rear springs?

Yeah I drive a honda pilot for the month I'm home in the winter. Also have some sweet metallic blue mazda 6 rims that I just painted, that I'm gonna rock this winter

and 200mm springs for the rear? I just bought the GR+ coils and they gave me a box. Thats what I installed.
Either way, thanks guys.

Stance has long fixed the issue of packaging 175mm rear springs on their RX8 GR+ set, but there is still a chance that you could have got a dated set from a vendor. If you have issues with the rear coils binding, it may be a good idea to take some measurements and see what springs you have in the back. Mine came with the 175's and I had a lot of binding in the rear before fixing.

Not sure you are understanding.... they aren't "bad" coilovers, nor does it have anything to do with the vendor knowing what is in the box. I am just saying that there were many kits produced with the 175mm springs in the back. Stance later revised the packages to include 200mm since a lot of people started to complain about binding. I am just giving you the heads up that if you hear binding in the back, it is not because you have "bad" coilovers or that you installed them wrong or something....it is because you probably got 175mm springs with your kit. If that is the case, stance will replace the coils for no charge.

what the binding? it will sound like a pinging noise coming from the back for lighter bumps, and a loud 'thunk' on the heavy bumps. And np, i just dont want you to be wondering wtf the noises are because I know first hand that noise hunts get really old really fast lol.
I don't know that they fixed the issue long ago. I played hell finally getting the right springs for Hoss-05's Stance coilovers. They (stance and TH) were nice about the whole ordeal but it still took a couple of months to get the right springs (both rate and length) and even then one pair was not even marked so I have no clue if they are the right spring rate or not. But I don't fault TH at all, it was Stance that was at fault.
But they are OK coilovers I guess. But you are just looking to go low so performance is not really a concern so you should be fine.
