Different Approach To a Drag Setup
So since I'm going away from the "slammed" and drifting crowd and back into my roots of drag racing, I'm looking at getting rid of the pumpkin rollers and going to a nice drag setup.
Front wheels I haven't decided on because I still have measuring to do to see if a 15x5 with a spacer will fit up front, but rear I'm pretty much set on a 275/40/17(26x11.5x17). Now with a 17x9 wheel and this much tire, I'm figuring probably going to have to be in the mid 30s to low 40s offset, is this correct?
Suspension will be stock height for now till I can figure out which coils are going to suit my needs the best(fenders are already rolled w/ slight pull).
If anyone out there has any insight into the front or rear setup, please let me know.
