D2 Racing Sport BB kit

Has anybody here have any experience with this manufacturers brake kits? http://www.d2racingsport.com/brake.htm or http://www.d2racingsport.co.uk/Pages/brakesystem.asp
I had a look at one of their BB kits and they look to be good quality and they have kits for the front and rear (according to the Irish dealer} of the RX-8. I can also buy locally which is important to me. (import taxes etc. etc..) The 356mm kit is about $2200 complete, which by Irish standards is good value.

I'm surprised that no one has commented on this yet.

i can't seem to find the ones for the front. I'm going to do more research on these, I hope they come in other colors.

A bit more info. The part number for the front kit is, MA03-8. (Check the UK sites price list). I cant find any information on the rear kit, but the Irish supplier is adamant that they do exist. They seem to only come in that purple colour which I am not too mad about, to say the least, and as for the pink on the UK site

One other thing I have found out is that D2 have some connection with K-sport coilovers etc, can anybody confirm? as that might have a bearing on any decision.

These are cheap on ebay and ebay australia.
There's a reason for it that's not poor manufacturing (i own a d2 racing coilver set) so you might want to have a look at them.

If you look Ksport has the same kits. Ksport, D2, Megan racing, they all offer the same parts in different colors and slightly different variations built in the same factories. I know their suspensions are decent products, but I really wouldn't trust my braking to them. I assume you are only looking for the BBK look because they won't be better than the OEM calipers with upgraded pads and 2 piece rotors.

Well ive done alot of investigating into these. It seems d2, k sport and g4 are all the same company. the brake set are basically a stolen concept from ap racing. and everyone who has them cant fault them. i think ill get them.

they have front and rear kits yea.. but so does stoptech, and just like the stoptech the e-brake is disabled.

not much of a streetable kit.

2 piece rotors with good pads and lines is more than you need.
