d-spec cable adapters KW owners
members with the KW variant 3's and the tokico d-spec adjustment cables. what adapter/coupler did you use?
I saw that polak (so i did search!) successfully done this, but he didn't provide a part number of the adapter he used in his post. I tried to contact him with no luck!

I have a guy that might be able to make some for me over the next month. If I come up with something I will let you know.
FYI, I track my car but I also drive it on the street. I adjust the compression and rebound in the front every track day and only the compression in the rear. For the rear rebound I set it at the recommended setting plus a half turn firmer.
Out of all the adjustments you can make on the car, the rear rebound is probably the least important. It can effect how fast you get weight transfer to the front under braking, but thats about it. You could probably set it fairly aggressive and it would have alomost no streetable change.
I have a guy that might be able to make some for me over the next month. If I come up with something I will let you know.

yea that post seems like a bit of a hack job. i know polak got couplers/adapters, but i dont know what part it was. i tried PM him and emailing too i even contacted his old company to no luck. im just going to go ahead and buy them and if worse comes to worse ill do the hack job with a couple Allen keys.
i think mine is too soft as when i was tracking, my rear end was way too loose on high speed hard braking.

Stiffening up the rear rebound could help. Also if you have not corner balanced the car you might have too much weight on the front. It is very common for people to adjust the ride height based on fender gap but the rear always has less so it is best to adjust based on hard points to the ground. Quote from eric Meyer "The proper way to measure a car is to get underneath it (w driver) and measure hard points to the ground. 4.5 front and 5 rear is a great place to play (hint, hint)"
I am not exactly sure what hard points he is refering to but you get the idea.

Going to get a corner weight balance as soon as my sways arrive. going to centerline suspension they are the gurus around here. I agree could be a combination of both cases.

BHR has the ones for D-Spec. You want the adjuster for the rear, the fronts not so much. $33 bucks a pair, It's a lot of work not to use these

D-spec makes it's own adjuster cables. I've never heard of cables for other shocks, though I'm sure they exist. I doubt they are interchangable.
The D-spec ones are great when they work, but are prone to breaking, and beecause you use them in the first palce because the shocks are quite inaccessible, be sure to be VERY careful during both isntallation AND tuning them.
