custom hub bore
my friend has an STi and he wants to give me his aftermarket wheels but they dont fit bc of the hub bore. the hub bore on his wheel is smaller than my hub itself so it dont mount.
just curious if its safe or even possible to have them machined to my bore....
am i crazy or is it not worth it?
i have axis hiro 18x8.5 +35
going to gram lights 57f 18x8.5 +45
i kno his offset is higher so the wheel would move in more and im flush right now so itd be a tad in but 10mm is like nothing and id rather have a lighter wheel but i do kno that my overall wheel and tires would be mounted farther intowards the car which stinks but the hiros next to the gram lights compared to weight is night and day.
the hiros might be 22 lbs maybe 23 or so the grmas are like 19 or 18 if that.....huge diff imo
since the gram lights are way lighter than my hiros, so i was gonna run race rubber on them and use them for HPDE and keep the hiros and leave my normal azenis rt 615s on them and use those for DD....
any thoughts?
