carbon kevlar pads

ok i was surfin around and came across these here i was curious if anyone has used them (the carbon kevlar street pads) hows the dust grip etc any help at all is good

lol i know f1 cars use em i just was curious if perhaps they have a shitty warmup and crappy for street driving

I put the street pad on last spring - they are porterfield r4-s pads. I love them and will definately use them again. no warm up problems on the street, they hold up really well for driving school use, some fade towards the end of a sesion, but not much. still some dust but way less than stock, and more brownish in color, rather than dark black.

ok. it works. what about wear? how fast do they wear out for normal driving.

wear is fine. Like I said, I put them on last spring, and expect them to last through next years driving school season. I think I will probably have to replace them next fall, or maybe the following spring. I also have slotted rotors which are probably using the pads up faster than plain rotors.
