I've had the impact screwdriver strip out a stuck screw and also have broken the carbide tip on one, sometimes poopy just happens

anti-sieze is your friend ....

 

It's funny because I went through all the trouble of keeping the screws in good shape when installing my new rotors and the first time I took the wheels off the screws just fell out. I guess I used too much anti-sieze, haha.
