Eh??? they look exactly like the advans. Even the center caps, the way the spokes come out from the center and how the spokes are slightly wider at the rim. Even the finish.

i agree with nsanity, they appear to be the exact same, down to the "conoisseur" label on one spoke...except its not raised (but could just be the nearly straight-on view).....the only thing that makes me wonder is what an advan wheel is doing on what would appear to be a strictly mazdaspeed show car...?

i have also seen those seats in other official mazdaspeed cars, if that means anything at all...not sure about the larger front splitter with the slight vertical wings though

I wouldn't be surprised if they were Advans. This was an early iteration of the MS RX-8 so I'm sure Mazda was in the process of selecting a vendor for their ms wheels. In the end they chose Rays Engineering and not Enkei.

Considering that it has all MS aftermarket parts on it i'd have to go with MS wheels.

I saw pics of a all mazdaspeed silver RX8 with the advan wheels (maybe this exact car) as an advert on some website, although i cannot remember which, next to the pic there was even the Advan logo etc. Who says its an 'official' mazdaspeed car?

that picture is from the official "unveiling" of the mazdaspeed rx-8 a loong time ago, when the 8 frist came out, so it's certainly an "official" rx-8,

..and actually there was another thread about those rims on here a while back.. they were arguing about what kind they were then too ;P

upon second review... i would say those look more like the Advan wheels than the actual MS Wheel.

Considering that mazda is working with Enkei on the new MS wheels (like the ones on the MS Concept cars Tokyo Auto Salon) and that those rims look very similar to a a set of Advan rims... and these as well... 1+1=2. Chances are that the rims you want are the Advan ones.

Yes, ADVAN wheels are manufactured by Enkei Japan.

No. Yokahama does.
They make ADVAN model of tires, not wheels.
