Pico 05-11-2010 12:57 PM

Cf05 05-11-2010 02:20 PM

spence15 05-11-2010 05:17 PM

Ravspec is a great dealer. Best prices I could find on the net and they have amazing customer service which I find rare these days.

Pico 05-12-2010 07:14 AM

yeah they are great guys over there.
I've been in their warehouse and offices and they are more then willing to go the extra mile for their customers

Finally got all my stuff today, got them mounted, pictures will follow in about say an hour.

These work decals for the kais seem to be a pain.. Hmmm

Pico 05-19-2010 08:21 PM

yeah the decals can be a pain. there's no real easy way of doing it.

spence15 05-19-2010 10:31 PM

I love how the satin bronze finish changes color in different lighting.

Cf05 05-25-2010 10:27 AM

Anyone know the weights on the CR-KAI 18 x 9.5?

Pico 05-25-2010 10:52 AM

Around 26lbs.
HEAVY and there are no center caps

Cf05 05-25-2010 10:57 AM

really they are that heavy? because the 18x8.5's are around 20.7 lbs damn that totally throws a wrench in what I want lol

don't really mind that there are no centercaps

Atilla 05-25-2010 11:12 AM

^what's your price range?? there might be more options for you.

Cf05 05-25-2010 11:29 AM

I was looking to not spend more than 2200 for the whole wheel and tire setup but obviously the lower I can go the better I really love the split 5 spoke look with the deep concave face/ I'm kinda in love with these wheels lol

Edit: Just got off the phone with Work and they told me that the 18x9.5 format ways roughly 23.8 pounds which is slightly heavier than stock which is around 22 pounds if I'm not mistaken but I can probably live with that...

Are you competitively racing for the world championship?

You'll be fine with an extra lb or two ;)

So many other factors come into play; seat time, compound of tires, tire width, tire psi, suspension components, etc that a couple lb sacrifice for an additional inch and a half really won't hurt anything.

Just a tip though - look into used wheels and/or tire setups. You'll be able to get something much higher tier for $2200 and potentially lose nothing if you ever need to sell. This would be a great place to start - http://forums.evolutionm.net/sale-wheels-tires-132/ Its really hit or miss though, you've got to keep an eye on it to catch the deals. I once sold some 100% MINT ce28n w/ 45% Toyo R1r on there for $2200 (though I got considerably higher offers via PM :D:)
